Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) provides 24/7 hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and operation for data center equipment, including generators, switchboards, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems. The role performs limited maintenance, root-cause analysis, operational monitoring, contractor supervision, emergency response, and CMMS workflow management, with rotating 12-hour shifts and work weeks of 3, 4, or 5 days. Candidates must be United States citizens, hold an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, and have at least one year of relevant electrical, mechanical, or data center experience; the position is based in Jessup, Maryland, with starting pay of 32.88 to 57.50 USD per hour.
