Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) maintains and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling, switchgear, PDUs, AHUs, fire detection, and building automation systems. The role performs frequent site interventions, critical switching, preventive maintenance, incident response, monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement, while reporting to the Data Center Engineering Operations Manager. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical theory, EU national status, and preferably data center engineering, mechanical/HVAC and controls experience, and B2 German proficiency. The position is available for full-time and part-time employment and may require a 24x7 schedule, work at heights, physical shift work, and work in a noisy environment.
