Description
The Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) supports AWS data center operations by maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling, switchgear, fire detection, and building automation systems. The role involves frequent site interventions, critical switching, preventive maintenance, incident response, monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical competencies and theory, and preferably data center engineering and mechanical systems experience; the schedule may include 24x7 shifts and work at heights.
