Amazon is hiring a DCEO Principal Engineer to lead Data Center Engineering Operations for the Americas region. The role oversees electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, building automation, and other mission-critical data center systems; leads cross-functional teams; drives safety, security, availability, reliability, and operational excellence; and supports troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective measures, and infrastructure innovation. The position requires 10+ years of relevant facilities or data center experience, a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field, and professional engineering registration or 5+ years of senior leadership experience. It is based in Hermiston, Oregon, with a base salary of $165,700 to $260,000 annually.
