Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building automation. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and on-site contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience, while data center experience, related education, and engineering-document experience are preferred. The position is based in Wink, Texas, with a base salary of $37.00–$65.00 per hour.
