Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, fuel systems, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, batteries, cooling systems, chillers, pumps, and motors. The role performs building rounds, monitors building and electrical power management systems, supports rack installations and decommissioning, conducts root-cause analysis, manages work requests, and supports contractors and vendors. It requires at least one year of electrical or mechanical experience, with two or more years of data center engineering experience preferred, and may involve travel between data center sites and shifts up to 12 hours.
