Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role involves daily facility rounds, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, rack installations, project support, contractor oversight, and flexible on-site work, including shifts up to 12 hours and possible on-call rotations. Candidates need at least one year of electrical or mechanical experience, Microsoft Office experience, and the ability to travel or commute between data center sites; visa sponsorship is not offered.
