Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and on-site contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least one year of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays; data center engineering experience, technical-documentation skills, and a related associate or technical degree are preferred. Visa sponsorship is not offered, but a relocation stipend may be provided to eligible candidates.
