Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and on-site contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays; data center engineering experience and technical training are preferred. The position offers a base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD per hour in Johnston and Jeffersonville, Ohio, plus relocation stipends for eligible candidates and comprehensive benefits.
