Description
The Data Center Engineering Technician maintains, operates, troubleshoots, and repairs mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, batteries, cooling systems, chillers, pumps, and fire/life-safety systems. The role performs building and rack-level maintenance, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, technical writing, project execution, and on-site contractor support, with shifts that may rotate and require travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, with data center engineering experience preferred; the position is based in Boardman, Oregon, with an hourly base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD.
