Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, root-cause analysis, technical writing, vendor support, and on-site troubleshooting, with shifts that may rotate and require travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience or two years of electrical facilities maintenance and one year of mechanical facilities maintenance, plus Microsoft Office experience. The position offers a lump-sum relocation stipend to eligible candidates and does not sponsor H-1B, TN, or other non-immigrant visas.
