Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and on-site contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center sites. Candidates need at least two years of relevant electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays. The position offers a lump-sum relocation stipend for eligible candidates and does not sponsor H-1B, TN, or other non-immigrant visas.
