Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building automation. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, reporting, and on-site contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least one year of electrical or mechanical experience and one year of Microsoft Office experience; data center engineering experience, technical training, and related education are preferred. The position is based in Wink, Texas, with starting pay of $32.00 to $57.00 USD per hour.
