AWS is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and related facilities. The role involves building rounds, BMS and EPMS monitoring, rack installations and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and on-site contractor support. It requires flexible 24/7 shifts, travel between data center locations, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions. The position is based in Plain City, Ohio, with a stated hourly base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD and no visa sponsorship.
