Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, pumps, and fire and life-safety equipment. The role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, rack installs and decommissioning, technical writing, work-request management, and on-site contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience, with data center experience, related education, and engineering-document experience preferred. The position does not offer visa sponsorship, but provides a lump-sum relocation stipend to eligible candidates and lists hourly pay of 37.64–65.91 USD across several United States locations.
