Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building automation. The role performs daily facility monitoring, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, rack installations, technical writing, project execution, and contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center sites. Candidates must be US citizens, hold an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, and obtain a TS/SCI clearance after start; the position also requires at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience.
