Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role involves daily facility rounds, preventive maintenance, rack installations, root-cause analysis, technical writing, vendor support, and on-site work across data center locations, including possible training travel. Candidates need at least one year of Microsoft Office experience and one year of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience; data center engineering experience, technical documentation skills, and an associate or technical degree are preferred. The position offers a lump-sum relocation stipend to eligible candidates and starts at $32.88–$57.50 USD per hour in Boardman, Oregon.
