Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, rack installations, technical writing, vendor support, and on-site troubleshooting, with flexible day, night, and weekend shifts and possible travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience, while data center experience, related education, and engineering-document experience are preferred. The position is based in New Carlisle, Indiana, with a base salary of $37.00–$65.00 per hour.
