Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center electrical and mechanical equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building automation. The role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, rack installs and decommissioning, technical writing, and on-site contractor support, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates must be US citizens, obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, and have at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience. The position is based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with a base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD per hour.
