Description
The Data Center Engineering Technician maintains, operates, troubleshoots, and repairs mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, batteries, cooling systems, chillers, pumps, and motors. The role performs building and rack-level maintenance, monitoring building and electrical management systems, troubleshooting events, executing preventive maintenance and repair work, supporting contractors and vendors, and completing projects. It requires travel between data center sites, physical work at heights and on uneven terrain, and may involve on-call rotations; the position is based in Umatilla, Oregon, with a stated hourly base salary of 37.64–65.91 USD.
