Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, fuel systems, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, batteries, cooling systems, chillers, pumps, and motors. The role performs building rounds, BMS and EPMS monitoring, rack installs and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and project support, with flexible on-site shifts and possible travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience, with data center experience, related education, and technical-document experience preferred. The position offers a lump-sum relocation stipend to eligible candidates and health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
