Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical equipment in AWS data centers. The role includes building rounds, monitoring building and electrical power management systems, troubleshooting facility and rack-level events, performing rack installs and decommissioning, conducting preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis, supporting change management, and managing work requests and projects. The position requires travel between data center locations, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, with a US citizen requirement and a requirement to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance after start. The listed location is Stafford, Virginia, with a base salary of 37.00–65.00 USD per hour.
