Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center electrical and mechanical equipment, including generators, fuel systems, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, batteries, cooling systems, pumps, motors, and fire and life-safety equipment. The role performs building rounds, monitoring of building and electrical power management systems, rack installations and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and project support. It requires flexible evening, overnight, and weekend scheduling, with shifts up to 12 hours and possible on-call rotations; the role may support multiple locations. The position is based in Hilliard, Ohio, pays $32.88–$57.50 USD per hour, and does not offer visa sponsorship.
