Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, rack installations, technical writing, vendor support, and on-site troubleshooting, with flexible shifts, possible on-call rotations, and travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of relevant electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience and two years of Microsoft Office experience; data center or mission-critical facility experience is preferred.
