Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role involves daily facility monitoring, rack installations and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, technical writing, contractor support, and flexible on-site work across data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience, with data center experience, related education, and technical-documentation experience preferred. The position may require travel and on-call rotations, and the listed base pay is 37.64–65.91 USD per hour in Boardman, Oregon.
