Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role involves daily facility rounds, preventive maintenance, rack installations, technical writing, project execution, contractor oversight, and flexible on-site work including evenings, overnights, weekends, and possible on-call rotations. Candidates need at least one year of Microsoft Office experience and one year of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience; data center engineering experience, technical documentation skills, and an associate or technical degree are preferred. The position may support multiple locations and requires travel or commuting to active data center sites.
