Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, batteries, cooling systems, pumps, and motors. The role involves building rounds, BMS and EPMS monitoring, rack installations and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and on-site contractor support. It requires at least one year of relevant electrical, mechanical, or data center experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, flexible evening, overnight, and weekend availability, and the ability to travel between data center sites. The position may support multiple locations, includes on-call rotations, and offers a lump-sum relocation stipend to eligible candidates.
