Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician in the greater Lubbock area, Floydada, Texas, to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center electrical and mechanical equipment. The role includes building rounds, monitoring building and electrical power management systems, troubleshooting facility and rack-level events, performing preventive maintenance and repairs, conducting root cause analysis, supporting change management, and managing work requests and projects. The position may require travel between data center sites, flexible weekend, night, and holiday scheduling, and on-call rotations. Candidates need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and the ability to travel or commute to active data center sites. The base salary is 37.64–65.91 USD per hour, with health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
