Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role performs preventive maintenance, rack installations, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and project support, with shifts that may rotate and include on-call work. It is physically based at the MDD Pecos, Texas site, with possible travel to other data center locations, and requires at least one year of electrical or mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and flexible availability for weekends, nights, and holidays.
