Description
Amazon is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, batteries, cooling systems, chillers, pumps, and fire/life-safety systems. The role performs building rounds, BMS and EPMS monitoring, rack installs and decommissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical writing, and project support, with flexible on-site shifts and possible travel between data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays; the role does not offer visa sponsorship.
