Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role involves daily facility rounds, preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, rack installations, technical writing, contractor support, and on-site work across potentially multiple data center locations. Candidates need at least two years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience, Microsoft Office experience, and flexibility for weekend, night, and holiday shifts; the position may require travel and does not offer visa sponsorship.
