Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair mission-critical electrical and mechanical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling systems, and building management systems. The role involves daily facility rounds, preventive maintenance, rack installations, root-cause analysis, technical writing, vendor support, and flexible on-site or rotating shifts. Candidates need at least two years of Microsoft Office and electrical and mechanical experience, with data center experience, related education, and technical-documentation experience preferred. The position may require travel between data center locations and offers a lump-sum relocation stipend to eligible candidates.
