Description
The Data Center Cabling Lead Technician/Foreman installs, terminates, tests, troubleshoots, and documents low-voltage and fiber-optic cabling in ISP and OSP environments. The role leads 3–5 technicians and installers, trains crew members, manages subcontractors, coordinates with project managers and customers, maintains safe and organized work sites, and may handle change orders. It requires at least five years of data cabling experience, BICSI Installer I or Installer II certification, a valid driver’s license, physical ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for travel, nights, and weekends.
