Description
OpenAI is hiring a senior Data Center Infrastructure Electrical Engineer to develop reliable, scalable, and efficient power architectures for high-density, liquid-cooled AI data centers. The role covers electrical topology design, power-system studies, vendor and equipment evaluation, commissioning and testing, telemetry and controls requirements, reliability analysis, and technical escalation across design, manufacturing, construction, deployment, and operations. Candidates need at least 10 years of mission-critical electrical engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, and hands-on experience with medium- and low-voltage distribution, backup power, UPS and battery systems, rack power, grounding, protection, and controls.
