Google is hiring a Hardware Operations Manager to lead a team of Data Center Technicians and oversee the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server hardware, server software, networks, routers, switches, and related infrastructure. The role also includes managing facility activities, security and operational procedures, project contingency planning, and environmental, health, and safety compliance. Candidates need at least five years of computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware experience and two years of experience managing technical teams, vendors, or contract delivery; a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
