Google is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, construction, commissioning, and operational support of data center HVAC and mechanical distribution systems. The role manages site-level mechanical engineering issues, coordinates with the Engineer of Record and cross-functional teams, develops construction documents, supports quality assurance, and provides technical guidance to vendors. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical field, five years of mission-critical facility design and construction experience, and five years of HVAC and mechanical distribution systems experience; domestic and international travel of up to 50% may be required. Compensation is $144,000–$208,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
