Description
The Data Center Operations Engineer will operate and maintain live, mission-critical data center infrastructure in Chicago, including equipment inspections, alarm and incident response, troubleshooting of power, cooling, controls, and monitoring systems, and hands-on maintenance of direct liquid cooling systems. The role also coordinates with data center providers and vendors, supports SOP and maintenance procedures, and participates in construction and commissioning activities for new data halls. Candidates need at least five years of hands-on experience with mission-critical facilities, knowledge of MEP systems and data center cooling and electrical principles, direct liquid cooling experience, BMS and monitoring skills, and a relevant engineering degree or equivalent critical facilities experience.
