Description
The Data Center Operator is responsible for the operational integrity, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency response, and regulatory compliance of electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, monitoring, control, and building automation systems in mission-critical data centers. The role manages contractors and consultants, supervises Multi-Skilled Operators, coordinates with clients and vendors, and may require on-call and approximately once-every-other-week unusual hours. Applicants need a four-year engineering degree, full sensory and motor function, the ability to lift up to 23 kilograms, and at least five years of directly related data center equipment and building-systems experience.
