Description
The Data Center Operator monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots the physical and environmental infrastructure of data center facilities, including power, cooling, security, fire suppression, and backup systems. The role responds to alarms, performs inspections and maintenance, manages physical access controls, documents operational activities, coordinates with vendors, assists with hardware and cabling installation and decommissioning, and supports disaster recovery and emergency response. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic data center infrastructure knowledge, experience with physical IT environments, flexible shift availability, and strong attention to detail.
