Google is hiring a Data Center Plant Engineer to oversee the design and operation of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in data centers. The role leads site-level efficiency, EHS, operations, and maintenance programs; mentors Facilities Technicians; coordinates with subject matter experts and managers; supports commissioning and retesting; and manages outages and repairs. Candidates need an associate's degree, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience, plus nine years of mission-critical facility maintenance or operational experience, including project controls and programmable logic controller experience. The position pays $138,000–$200,000 USD annually plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
