Description
AWS is hiring an Electrical Colo Regional Engineer in Auckland to provide full life-cycle support for data centers from design through construction, commissioning, handover, upgrades, maintenance, and operational troubleshooting. The role works with colo vendors, operating partners, design and commissioning teams, and other stakeholders to review designs, lead site audits, support root-cause analysis, and improve data center availability, efficiency, and safety. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning education, knowledge of critical data center equipment, Microsoft Office skills, and experience with mission-critical facility design, construction, operation, or maintenance.
