Description
AWS is hiring a Data Center Technician to perform server rack installations, hardware and network troubleshooting, incident response, documentation, maintenance, change management, and on-call support for AWS data centers. The role requires independent and team-based work, travel between data center locations, shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays, and physical work involving lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of computer or server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience; an associate's degree or relevant experience is preferred. The position is based in Umatilla, Oregon, with starting pay of 27.98–48.99 USD per hour.
