Google is hiring an Operations Technician/Data Center Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain data center hardware, server software, networks, routers, switches, and related infrastructure. The role includes deploying infrastructure, diagnosing moderately complex issues, performing preventative maintenance, following security procedures, collaborating with partner teams, and participating in or leading installation projects. The work involves physically moving and installing racks and servers, including lifting 50 pounds, and may require non-standard hours, weekends, night shifts, and holidays.
