Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Data Center Technician for its Infrastructure Operations team to maintain data center availability and reliability. The role covers computer hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, equipment installation, documentation, troubleshooting, on-site shift coverage, and participation in an on-call rotation. Candidates need at least one year of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, one year of network and operating-system support experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and bilingual French and English ability. Preferred qualifications include data center experience, Linux knowledge, network troubleshooting, storage knowledge, scripting, ticketing-system experience, and an IT-related degree. The position is based in Pointe-Claire, Baie-D'Urfé, or Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with a starting compensation of CAD 32.93–42.16 per hour.
