Amazon is hiring a Data Center Linux & Hardware Engineer to support and expand its cloud infrastructure. The role troubleshoots Linux, systems, network, power, and hardware issues; restores physical outages; manages racks, servers, network devices, and spares; responds to 24x7 on-call incidents; coordinates with vendors and contractors; contributes to projects and operational metrics; and mentors less technical staff. Required qualifications include Linux/Unix administration, server hardware troubleshooting, booting technologies, network protocols, and network hardware; preferred qualifications include remote-access technologies, Cisco and Juniper networking, data center operations, AWS products, and scripting.
