Google is hiring an Operations Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain data center hardware, server software, networks, and related infrastructure. The role includes deploying infrastructure, diagnosing equipment issues, maintaining data security, repairing and replacing end-of-life components, and supporting larger installation projects. Candidates need component-level repair and troubleshooting experience, physical ability to move and work with heavy equipment, and availability for non-standard hours; Linux, systems administration, scripting, and collaboration experience are preferred.
