Description
AWS is hiring a Data Centre Operation Technician to support the design, installation, maintenance, and operation of large-scale data center infrastructure in India. The role involves server rack installation, hardware break-fix, network troubleshooting, emergency response, SLA-based ticket handling, on-call and scheduled maintenance, change management, documentation, and process improvement. It requires at least two years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, one year of computer networking experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with customer-facing problem resolution under pressure preferred. The position includes a physical component requiring lifting up to 18 kg and may require working in cramped or elevated spaces, and involves a 24x7 shift rotation.
