AWS is hiring a Data Centre Operations Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Linux-based server infrastructures; monitor, diagnose, and optimize systems; configure network hardware and cabling; develop backup and disaster recovery strategies; and troubleshoot advanced servers, storage, and networking devices. The role also involves maintaining reliability and availability, participating in operational-efficiency projects, training less technical staff, and contributing to hiring and candidate interviews. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, and at least two years of data center, critical-environment, infrastructure, or data center operations experience.
