AWS is hiring a Data Centre Operations Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Linux-based server infrastructures; monitor, diagnose, and optimize systems; configure network hardware and cabling; develop backup and disaster recovery strategies; and troubleshoot advanced servers, storage, and networking devices. The role also involves improving operational efficiency, training less technical staff, and participating in hiring activities. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, plus experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair and at least two years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience.
