eBay is hiring a Data Studio Engineer to design, build, and maintain an integrated development environment for data exploration, analytics, and development. The role develops interactive tools such as Jupyter notebooks, SQL editors, query consoles, and data exploration experiences; integrates them with Spark, Hadoop, Flink, and cloud-native platforms; builds backend services and APIs for workspace, session, compute, and resource management; and improves platform reliability, scalability, performance, security, and developer experience. The engineer will partner with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to enable self-service data workflows and requires extensive software engineering and data-platform experience, including production-grade software development with AI coding agents.
